Spike Chunsoft has announced that the second DLC episode for their mystery adventure game Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE is now available on Nintendo Switch.
Titled “Ch. Fubuki: Fubuki’s Luckiest Day,” you can purchase this episode standalone for $5.00. Alternatively, you can get the Season Pass for $16.00 to save roughly four bucks. The first DLC episode, “Ch. Desuhiko: Charisma Killed the Cat,” is also available.
The third DLC episode, “Ch. Raining Cats and Dogs,” will feature Halara, and it was announced to launch on September 28, 2023.
The fourth and final DLC will launch sometime in October 2023.
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE has players control an amnesiac detective who is followed by a Shinigami and solves cases by examining crime scenes and evidence. The Shinigami will create a realm connecting the crime scene to the truth. Mystery Phantoms will try to impede your progress, and defeating them by utilizing the truth is the only way to go.
The gameplay comprises exploration throughout the Kanai Ward, which is entirely 3D. Players will have to examine several crime scenes and other locations alongside interviewing involved parties. Hidden clues are emphasized as being hidden via specific camera angles.
