CyberConnect2 has announced that Fuga: Melodies of Steel is heading to mobile devices via iOS and Android in Summer 2026. The tactical RPG, which originally launched on consoles and PC in 2021, will be available through the App Store and Google Play, with pricing yet to be confirmed. In case you missed it, check out our review.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel is part of CyberConnect2’s Little Tail Bronx series, which dates back to Tail Concerto on the original PlayStation and later continued with Solatorobo: Red the Hunter on Nintendo DS. While those earlier titles leaned into action gameplay, Fuga shifted the series toward a strategy RPG format centered on turn-based combat and resource management. The game follows a group of anthropomorphic children from the village of Petit Mona as they operate a massive tank called the Taranis during a war against the Berman Empire.

The mobile release includes the full game along with content previously tied to the Deluxe Edition. Players will also receive several cosmetic DLC packs at no additional cost, including the Swimsuit, Back to School, Way of the Sword, and Fantasy costume sets. A bundle of in-game items is included, along with a “Dummy Soul” item that allows use of the Soul Cannon once without sacrificing a character, a core mechanic tied to the game’s risk-reward system.

Combat in Fuga: Melodies of Steel revolves around positioning children in different roles within the tank to exploit enemy weaknesses, manage buffs and debuffs, and maintain the vehicle’s systems. Outside of battle, players make narrative decisions that affect relationships between characters and influence progression along branching routes. The game’s tone mixes lighthearted character moments with heavier themes tied to war and sacrifice.

For the mobile version, CyberConnect2 states that controls have been adjusted for touchscreen play to better suit smartphones and tablets. The release will support a wide range of languages, including English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), and Korean.

Are you planning to revisit Fuga: Melodies of Steel on mobile, or will this be your first time with the Little Tail Bronx series? Let us know, and stay tuned to Noisy Pixel for more updates.
