The official Square Enix Music YouTube channel has posted a new cover featuring “Primrose, the Dancer” from Octopath Traveler.
Originally composed by Yasunori Nishiki, this lounge jam cover was arranged by Ryo Miyachi and Kojiro Tokunaga, while various musicians used different instruments as part of the KuJenger band.
Ryo Miyachi played bass, Hiroyuki Ishikawa played trumpet, Natsumi Inokuchi played drums, Takuma Asada played guitar, Kota Kaihori played piano, Kan played percussion, and Kojiro Tokunaga played flamenco guitar. Additionally, Yuta Tateishi recorded and mixed this performance at Sekiguchidai Studio.
Octopath Traveler I and II are available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Switch 2 versions will arrive in the West on October 1, 2026.
