The Danganronpa series is getting a new collaboration with Sanrio Characters featuring original artwork by illustrator Kei Mochizuki. A limited-time pop-up event will begin occurring in Loft stores in Japan on September 11, 2026.
The collaboration features 16 newly drawn character pairings of the Danganronpa cast with Sanrio characters.
Merchandise based on the illustrations includes acrylic keychains, instant photo-style cards, matte badges, acrylic stands, glitter acrylic art, stickers, clear files, mugs, pouches, tote bags, T-shirts, towels, and long tapestries. Prices range from ¥550 for some of the smaller collectibles to ¥8,250 for the tapestries.
Danganronpa 2×2 will be released in early 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
