Square Enix has shared new artwork celebrating the second anniversary of its ongoing free-to-play RPG Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis.

This new illustration depicts Cloud, Sephiroth’s younger self seen in The First Soldier, and his more recognizable and antagonistic older form from the original Final Fantasy VII.

About Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is an ambitious entry that aims to coalesce the compilation of Final Fantasy VII, including the original game, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis, and even Advent Children in playable forms. The gacha comprises new outfits for the cast, adding levity and spiciness to familiar events that fans are abundantly knowledgeable about.

The original Final Fantasy VII’s portrayal features new lines and adapts light novel material written by Nojima, such as when Tifa meets AVALANCHE in Traces of Two Pasts.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available on mobile devices via iOS and Android and PC via Steam.

11 million downloads have been achieved.

Final Fantasy XIII and NieR collaborations have been confirmed for the title.
