Bandai Namco took to the streets to reveal gameplay of their upcoming action racer Fast & Furious Crossroads, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 7.

The gameplay gives players a look at the combat action that takes place on the road. Reminiscent of games like Spyhunter, players are able to shoot at targets and execute stunts in order to take out a target. The trailer also shows that players can switch between other characters as they progress through the mission. In retrospect, the game appears to be very arcadey.

Fast & Furious Crossroads has Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson reprising their roles as Dom, Letty, and Roman as they take on a new action-packed mission. Players will find themselves racing across real-world locations such as Athens, Barcelona, and Marocco. Joining the cast are Sonequa Martin-Green (Star Trek: Discovery, The Walking Dead) and Asia Kate Dillon (Billions, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum).

The game aims to make players feel like they are in action. The cinematic franchise is known for its fast cars, but also for its high-speed action sequences. Players can expect huge explosions and over-the-top family drama. The game will feature multiplayer and single-player modes as well.
