Sekai Project provided an update on the development of Nekopara After: La Vraie Familie. The publisher announced that this release will no longer be considered DLC for Nekopara Vol. 4. Instead, the release has evolved to be a standalone release in the series.
Nekopara After: La Vraie Famille is the upcoming addition to the beloved Nekopara series, initially planned as DLC for Nekopara Vol. 4 but now a standalone release set for 2025. Announced during Anime Expo 2022, this game celebrates the 10th anniversary of Nekopara and continues the heartwarming and comedic adventures of the Minaduki household. The story follows Kashou, a skilled patissier, who is now entrusted with Fraise, a catgirl raised by Beignet after she closed La Soleil in France. Fraise admires Kashou but finds herself confused by his six other catgirls, seeking advice from Shigure, who also harbors feelings for Kashou.
Players will explore the dynamics between Fraise, Shigure, and the other catgirls as they navigate their emotions and relationships. The game promises to deliver the signature charm and humor of the series, with beautifully animated character sprites and CGs, including the main heroines, Minaduki Shigure and Fraise. As the story unfolds, the game will delve into themes of love and rivalry, as Fraise and Shigure’s motivations and desires lead to a heartfelt and entertaining battle of affections.
