Sekai Project announced that they will publish the Neko Works-developed remastered release of the Nekopara series. Nekopara Remastered will begin with the release of Nekopara Remastered Vol. 1 in Q4 2024, with the following volumes released in 2025.
Nekopara Remastered will feature updated characters and full HD support. This is a significant upgrade for a series celebrating its 10th anniversary. We’ll continue to cover the remastered release as more news is revealed. Nekopara Vol. 1 is available now on Steam and Switch.
Nekopara is a delightful visual novel series set in a cat-filled paradise. The story follows Kashou Minaduki, a young man from a family of traditional Japanese confection makers, who decides to open his own patisserie, “La Soleil.” Upon moving out, he discovers that two of the family’s catgirls, Chocola and Vanilla, have stowed away among his belongings. Despite his initial attempt to send them back, the catgirls’ earnest pleas win him over, and they end up opening the shop together.
In Nekopara, players experience a heartwarming comedy as Chocola and Vanilla, who are deeply devoted to their master, do their best to help run the patisserie, often with humorous results. The game features Sayori Neko Works’ beloved mascots in full voice and motion, thanks to the E-mote System. This system allows the characters to move smoothly on screen, changing expressions and poses in countless ways, adding to the charm and immersion of the series.
