Game Source Entertainment and developer 7Quark are celebrating a major milestone for their upcoming action roguelite, Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade. Following an overwhelmingly positive reception during Steam Next Fest, the game has now surpassed 100,000 wishlists on Steam. To commemorate the achievement, a physical Collector’s Edition has been announced, set to launch later this year for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe.

A Roguelite Adventure in Feudal Japan

Set in a fantasy-infused Edo period, Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade combines intense roguelite action with stunning Japanese-inspired visuals. Players will step into the shoes of three unique protagonists—Shigure, the Immortal Ninja; Sara, the Oni Emissary; and Taketora, the Demon Samurai—each offering distinct playstyles and combat abilities. The game draws inspiration from titles like Hades and Ōkami, blending fast-paced combat with deep customization and a beautifully realized world.

For fans eager to get their hands on something special, the newly revealed Collector’s Edition comes packed with exclusive content, including:

    • A deluxe box with a physical copy of the game
    • Postcards featuring stunning artwork
    • A digital soundtrack with singles from the game
    • An artbook showcasing the game’s unique visual style
    • A collectible poster

The Collector’s Edition will be available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, though there’s no word yet on whether additional platforms will receive similar treatment.

A Rising Star in the Indie Scene

Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade has quickly become one of 2025’s most anticipated indie titles, thanks to its successful demo during Steam Next Fest. The showcase gave players a hands-on experience with its dynamic combat, weapon customization, and vibrant world filled with yokai, earning widespread praise from those who participated.

The full game is set to launch on April 24, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. A demo is currently available on Steam for those who want an early taste of the action.
