EastAsiaSoft announced they will publish the Kaio Meris-developed top-down arena shooter Zero Strain on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 12 and Nintendo Switch on August 13.
Zero Strain initially launched on Steam in 2019 and now finds its way to consoles. The game features fast-paced shooting mechanics where players will use a balance of offensive and defensive maneuvers to survive challenges. The game also mixes some MOBA elements into the game to create a unique experience.
Players are able to pilot a variety of ships known as Constructs. Each of these is equipped with a different array of armaments that are charged by the damage that you deal, which allows you to deploy more powerful abilities against enemies. This is a single-player game, and the console release will not include any multiplayer options. However, this is the same as the Steam version, which has the same asking price of $9.99.
The publisher has also posted a new trailer showing console gameplay and a few of the missions that players will be taking on. The game itself seems to have a range of flashing colors and arenas that give it a unique, but almost overwhelming appeal.
