Zero Escape Director Teases New Collaboration Project With Spike Chunsoft

Kotaro Uchikoshi announced that he will be collaborating with publisher Spike Chunsoft on a new project set to be announced on January 30.

Uchikohsi-san recently left from working full time with the publisher to open his own studio with a group of other developers and designers named Too Kyo Games. This project will most likely be a collaboration between both studios who have a long history together. It should also be mentioned that this doesn’t seem to be the already announced game from the developer and publisher titled  AI: The Somnium Files, in development for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Fans of the creator will need to wait until next week to get more news on the project, but for now, you can check how the most recent key art from Too Kyo Games from illustrator Rui Komatsuzaki, who also left Spike Chusoft to form the new studio.

If you’re curious about these creators, you can check out their official website. Kotaro Uchikoshi has also shared some of his thoughts on the recent Black Mirror ‘choose your own adventure’ special Bandersnatch.

Author’s take: This is an interesting announcement and one that I wasn’t expecting so I’m excited to know what the developer is planning.
