Zanki Zero: Last Beginning Delayed in the West to Give “Best Possible Experience” to Players

Spike Chunsoft announced that the dungeon crawling RPG Zanki Zero: Last Beginning has been delayed to release on PlayStation and PC-via Steam on April 9 from its original release date of March 19.

The delay statement mentioned that the team needed time to implement some additional improvement and give players the best possible experience.

During gameplay, players will explore dungeons as a group of characters based off of the seven deadly sins and an original sin. These characters will be able to change age throughout the game and inevitably die and get reborn as they try and understand this new world and how they got there. However, each time they die they take with them new skills and knowledge based off of how they died.

The game features dungeon exploring elements with equipment management across multiple levels. Players can also manage their character’s base and living conditions over the game’s narrative.

Additionally, Zanki Zero: Last Beginning will also feature English and Japanese voice audio options. Those who purchase the Day 1 Edition of the game on PS4 or Early Purchase on PC will get a Soundtrack CD for free.
