Sekai Project announced the Lycoris-developed yuri visual novel UsoNatsu: The Summer Romance Bloomed From A Lie will launch on PC via Steam on October 24, 2023.

UsoNatsu: The Summer Romance Bloomed From A Lie is a yuri visual novel that delves into themes of summer, love, and adolescence.

Set in the backdrop of Aoba Dai-ichi High School, perched on a hill overlooking the sea in Minatocho, the story unfolds with a pivotal event. Tachibana Kaoru, a second-year student, experiences a heart-wrenching moment when her middle school homeroom teacher, Shimotsuki Mirei, shatters her heart. This emotionally charged incident is observed by Kaoru’s diligent classmate, Minagi Shiori, known for her exemplary academic record.

In her state of despair, Kaoru confides in Shiori about her painful history with Mirei. Shiori, radiating an enigmatic presence, presents an intriguing proposition: the idea of finding new love to replace the feelings they held for someone dear. Uncertain yet willing to explore this notion, Kaoru contemplates it as a potential path toward healing.

In a surprising turn of events, Shiori makes an unconventional request of Kaoru—to assist her in forgetting about her older brother. This request involves embarking on a journey through Shiori’s own memories, driven by her desire to break free from the shadows of her sibling’s excellence and regain clarity about her own aspirations.
