Heart of the Woods tells the story of a young woman called Maddie Raines, who is irritated with her current life. So together with her best friend Tara, she goes on a paranormal investigation trip to a remote village. There they find ancient mysteries and strange phenomena. One of those is the ghost of a young woman tied to a love story that transcends life and death.
The console release was initially expected for 2020, but the porting needed some extra time. In case you’d like to know more about the game, you can check our review of the PC version. Although the lack of voices was one gripe we had with the game back in the day, an update has included English audio.
We’ll keep you updated on the upcoming console releases of Heart of the Woods and future projects from Studio Élan and Sekai Games.
