Free Yuri Visual Novel ‘First Snow’ Gets Trailer Ahead of Release

Studio Élan announced they will publish the Salty Salty Studios-developed visual novel First Snow on PC-via Steam and itch.io for free.

Currently, the release date is set to “soon,” but First Snow tells the story of Allison Merlo, who has just moved away from her friends and family to attend community college. It seems she is struggling with coping an adjusting to the change of environment and is having trouble finding new friends. As she is faced with the independence of growing up, she finds herself joining a group of eccentric writers and artists.

The story follows this stage of her life as she finds herself drawn, no pun intended, to Eileen Turner, whose art shows off her cold and enigmatic personality.

First Snow is meant to be a prequel spinoff to the visual novel Twofold and focuses on Allison and Eillen’s first months of college together and follows their relationship through the Christmas holiday.

The game features a large cast of characters with different personalities who each play a role in the story’s narrative. The game also has an extras gallery, where players can view CGs and guest art from a handful of different artists.
