Yuri Visual Novel ‘Yumeutsutsu Re:Master’ and ‘Re:After’ to Receive Physical Vita Release
EastAsiaSoft announced they will publish the Kogado-developed yuri visual novel Yumeutsutsu Re:Master and Yumeutsutsu Re:After physically on PlayStation Vita.
Published and localized by Degica Games in the west, the physical version of both titles will be available via Play Asia on November 19. Players can purchase the games separately or together in a bundle with a $5 discount added. The games are expected to ship in February 2021, meaning Vita is still alive as we head into the next generation.
Both games have been available in Japan since 2019, but the two titles will be updated with additional English text options. Yumeutsutsu Re:Master is a story about a group of professional developers who run a game studio, Eureka, in Koenji, near the center of Tokyo. The story focuses on Ai, a country girl who moves to the city to be closer to her younger sister, Kokoro, who spends her days making games at Eureka. Ai plans to reunite with her sibling and make up for the lost time by becoming her coworker at the studio.
Sure, Ai doesn’t know about the game development process. If that wasn’t enough, her life spirals into surreal chaos as the people around her begin to act as strange as the NPCs in the games she’s working on. Furthermore, Kokoro doesn’t seem to want to be around her too much, which makes that just another hurdle.
