UPDATE: Ys X Nordics Reveals New Artwork
Developer Nihon Falcom has shared new artwork for their upcoming action JRPG, Ys X Nordics, via their official Twitter account. No specific context regarding this illustration was provided, though the company does emphasize that Thursday, March 9, 2023, will mark its 42nd anniversary.
Perhaps we’ll learn more about this new art tomorrow since Ys X Nordics is receiving further information in the upcoming Famitsu issue. And as is usually the case with Famitsu, you can be sure that we’ll provide coverage for it, so be on the lookout.
If you missed it, check out our announcement coverage of Ys X Nordics and the recent onslaught of new info via Famitsu. This entry will occur between Ys II and Memories of Celceta, making it the new third canonical entry in Adol Christin’s adventure logs. The gameplay has undergone a significant shakeup, with there only being two playable characters this time around. Unused Ys Seven concepts are being utilized in this outing, too. Ys X Nordics will allow players considerable explorative freedom, enabling naval travel with a recruitable crew and ship combat.
