Following the announcement of the official Ys X Nordics guidebook, Nihon Falcom has opened pre-orders via various retailers, including their own online storefront.
Interestingly, purchasing the Ys X Nordics guidebook via Falcom’s online store will give fans a code for a new Carja Balta outfit titled Avatar Raven. It’s quite a revealing one.
As a reminder, this guidebook will contain the following:
A collection of official illustrations. Also included are rare event stills that can only be seen in the credits roll!
Includes basic knowledge of Mana Actions and Release Lines, as well as detailed information for advanced players, such as damage calculation formulas and more.
A chart summarizing the progression of the main story, as well as a map with information on enemies and treasure chest locations, and more. A must-read for those who want to proceed without missing anything!
Information that cannot be found in-game, such as specific details on how to obtain items, how long items are sold in the stores, enemy values, and more.
The Ys X Nordics guidebook will launch on November 14, 2023, for ¥2,970.

Thanks to Hansuke for sharing this news.
Ys X Nordics occurs between Ys II and Memories of Celceta, making it the new third canonical entry in Adol Christin’s adventure logs. The gameplay has undergone a significant shakeup, with there only being two playable characters this time around.
Special maneuvers can be unlocked via story scenes and exploration, allowing for environmental interaction. Further, in solo mode, the character you’re not controlling performs actions judged by their own discretion. Adol will be controlling a ship for combat and island hopping, too.
Unused Ys Seven concepts are utilized in this outing, too. Ys X Nordics allows players considerable explorative freedom, enabling naval travel with a recruitable crew and ship combat.
