Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Receiving Nintendo Switch UK Online Game Trial Late August 2022

Nintendo has announced that the Nihon Falcom-developed and NIS America-published JRPG, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, will be receiving a Switch online member game trial from August 18 through August 24, strictly for United Kingdom users.

Prospective, intrigued players can currently download the trial, though it’ll only be launchable during the aforementioned dates. Ys VIII is undoubtedly the most approachable entry in the franchise, so there’s a fair chance that this trial may compel some players to purchase the game and give it a full shot.

Alternatively, those who have already played through the title on other platforms could speed run through the Switch version. If one skips all scenes and knows what they’re doing, they can probably beat it in a few days, depending on their availability and the completion rate they’re seeking.
