New ‘Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana’ PS5 Music Clip Highlights Laxia & “A Footprint in the Wet Sand”

Publisher NIS America has shared a new music video clip for the Nihon Falcom-developed action JRPG, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.

The music clip this time showcases Laxia, one of the game’s party members, alongside the track “A Footprint in the Wet Sand. Laxia is the first character to ally with Adol, though their initial meeting isn’t exactly ideal.

Her combat style embraces the Pierce attribute, with mid-range to distant strikes terrific against foes from afar. The song playing throughout this brief clip is one of the first tracks players will hear on the island, setting the stage for this entry’s particularly beloved soundtrack, boasting a distinct sense of enchanting thrills.
