Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana PlayStation 5 Christmas Track Arrangement Previews; Iclucian Dance & Main Theme

Publisher NIS America has shared new music clips for the upcoming native PlayStation 5 release of the Nihon Falcom-developed action JRPG, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, showcasing the two included Christmas arrangement tracks, “Iclucian Dance (Holiday Version)” and “Lacrimosa of DANA (Holiday Version).”

The two Christmas songs will be a digital download code for all physical shipments. For those unaware, this was an album that launched in Japan on November 30, 2018, comprising two songs. Both tracks’ names, runtimes, and associated musicians are listed below:

  • Lacrimosa of Dana -Christmas-: Originally composed and arranged by Yukihiro Jindo: 2:51 runtime
  • Iclucian Dance -Christmas-: Originally composed and arranged by Mitsuo Singa: 3:32 runtime

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is releasing for PlayStation 5 natively on November 15, 2022, in North America, and on November 18, 2022, for Europe. The title is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana kickstarted the series’ popularity in the West during its initial Vita and PS4 release. It contains a memorable narrative, addictive combat, a stellar soundtrack, multiple difficulty levels, a plethora of side content, and much more.

A native PlayStation 5 version of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox was announced for Spring 2023.
