Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Laxia English Voice Actress, Kira Buckland, Reads Part of Official Novelization

Following the launch of the official novelization of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, the team behind the book uploaded a new video on their YouTube channel. This video features the English voice actress of party member Laxia von Roswell from the game, Kira Buckland, reading an excerpt from chapter two.

This chapter occurs soon after the passengers of the Lombardia find themselves on the Isle of Seiren. In the roughly eight-minute video featuring Kira Buckland taking on the role of Laxia, the character’s thoughts regarding her own circumstances and Adol’s sudden appearance are highlighted.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana kickstarted the series’ popularity in the West during its initial Vita and PS4 release. It contains a memorable narrative, addictive combat, a stellar soundtrack, multiple difficulty levels, a plethora of side content, and much more. It can be seen as a rebirth of the franchise’s prominence in the West on a grander scale than Oath in Felghana.

Ys VIII is receiving an official mobile game, launching at an unknown time. Most recently, a new trailer and character renders were unveiled.
