Ys Online: The Ark of Napishtim Introduces Terra From Ys V & Antagonistic Admiral Agares

The official Twitter account for the mobile title Ys Online: The Ark of Napishtim has highlighted more characters players will encounter throughout their adventure.

The following two characters have been detailed:

  • Admiral Agares is the primary antagonist in the original Ys VI. He’s a noble Romun fleet commander, disturbingly yearning for Senate membership. Thanks to the actions of Ernst, unnecessary governance over the Canaan Islands was initiated.
  • Terra is a character from Ys V: Kefin Lost Kingdom of Sand who fell in love with Adol following his adventures in the region. She was also a somewhat prominent character in the original Ys VI, choosing to follow Adol to the Canaan Islands, unfortunately leading to the attack by the Romun fleet. She still not-so-subtly desires Adol’s romantic affections.

Ys Online: The Ark of Napishtim is currently planned to release in English sometime this year. Pre-registrations are currently available for iOS and Android devices.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana kickstarted the series’ popularity in the West during its initial Vita and PS4 release. It contains a memorable narrative, addictive combat, a stellar soundtrack, multiple difficulty levels, a plethora of side content, and much more. It’s a definite must-play, and if you have a PS5, you should be on the lookout for it when it launches later this year.
