Ys: Memories of Celceta Is Currently Unsupported On Steam Deck

Steam Database has been regularly updated to include which games are and aren’t currently supported for the highly anticipated Steam Deck, Valve’s portable gaming hardware. Prominent Twitter gaming enthusiast, Wario64, has been alerting his followers of this continually evolving list, with him recently informing everyone that Ys: Memories of Celceta is currently unsupported on the hardware.

This is a tad strange, as this was originally a Vita game, so running capability should not be an issue. It’s more than likely that it has not been extensively tested yet, and will become supported in the near future. Ys IX: Monstrum Nox has been shown to be playable on Steam Deck, so it’s probably just a matter of time before the entirety of the series is.

Ys: Memories of Celceta finds our adventurer, Adol Christin, without his memory and in a strange town called Casnan. He has then been thrown into responsibility as the town wishes for him to rid the local mine of monsters. Following the mission, Adol is then asked to map the Great Forest of Celceta, which means he’s in for a brand new adventure.

Ys: Memories of Celceta is available now on PS Vita, PlayStation 4, and PC.
