Ys IX: Monstrum Nox Switch Version Listed on Amazon With June 2021 Release

Amazon has posted a listing for the Switch version of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox – Pact Edition for $59.99. The release date listed for this port of the upcoming JRPG title is June 30, 2021. This release date has not been confirmed by the publisher, NIS America, nor has any such date been listed or confirmed for the upcoming PC port of the title. The Playstation 4 version of this title has been confirmed for a February 2, 2021 release.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is the latest in the highly acclaimed action RPG series and is being localized by publisher NIS America for the Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms in 2021.

In Ys IX: Monstrum Nox, Adol is cursed into transforming into a being known as a Monstrum, by the mysterious woman known as Aprilis. After escaping imprisonment in the city of Balduq, Adol and his new companions must each harness their unique powers in order to stop the Grimwald Nox, a dangerous dimension that threatens their world.

Additionally, as a small note, the Amazon page has a small typo. The title on their page for both the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch tabs is listed as Ys IX: Monstrom Nox, when in actuality, ‘Monstrom’ should be spelled ‘Monstrum’.
