Ys Official 35th Anniversary Album Announced for October 2023; Features 13 New Arrangements
To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Ys series, Falcom announced that they will launch the Ys 35th Anniversary Music Work album with all songs newly arranged and recorded based on the concept of the adventurous journey of the main character, the adventurer Adol Christin.
The album will be released on October 12, 2023, for ¥2,800. Further, a downloadable version of these arranged tracks will be added to streaming services for ¥2,222 for the entire album or ¥231 for the songs individually. The high-resolution versions will also be sold at ¥2,777 for the album or ¥324 apiece.
Moreover, 4Gamer clarified that the songs would join free streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.

Falcom also revealed that purchasing the album from their online store will give an acrylic figure of Adol as he appears during the first two Ys games.

Ys X Nordics will occur between Ys II and Memories of Celceta, making it the new third canonical entry in Adol Christin’s adventure logs. The gameplay has undergone a significant shakeup, with there only being two playable characters this time around.
Special maneuvers can be unlocked via story scenes and exploration, allowing for environmental interaction. Further, in solo mode, the character you’re not controlling performs actions judged by their own discretion. Adol will be controlling a ship for combat and island hopping, too.
Unused Ys Seven concepts are being utilized in this outing, too. Ys X Nordics will allow players considerable explorative freedom, enabling naval travel with a recruitable crew and ship combat.
