Youni Gets New Trailer Ahead of Launch to Scare the S**T Out of You

Chorus Worldwide released a new trailer for the Tricore-developed horror adventure Yuoni coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on August 19, 2021. This is the same release date as the Japanese version of the game.

The trailer highlights some of the game’s scarier moments as players will navigate the halls of a ghostly school. To escape death, they’ll need to run, hide, and hold their breath as they creep by spiritual beings. Further, you quickly see some of the maze-like rooms you’ll encounter throughout the nightmare.

During gameplay, players will assume the role of a grade-schooler in ‘90s Japan, who has been whisked away to a world of permanent dusk and forced to play a deadly game of hide-and-seek. This first-person horror game from Tricore Inc. is not for the faint of heart, as Ai will encounter otherworldly horrors that leave her with only two choices: hide or die.

We’ll be sure to follow the release of Yuoni. In case you missed it, it was chosen as one of the game demos that you needed to try during Steam Next Fest, and it did scare us quite a bit.
