RPG Co-Op Beat ’em Up ‘Young Souls’ Reveals Console Release Window in New Trailer

The Arcade Crew announced that the 1P2P-developed RPG co-op beat ’em up, Young Souls, will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in Fall 2021. The game was released today on Stadia.

A new trailer highlights the boss battles of Young Souls and the obstacles that players will face trying to guide these twins to save the ones they love. Further, we get a preview of the weapons the kids can use against these creatures.

“With Young Souls, our goal from day one was to make boss fights the core of the game experience,” said Jérôme Fait, co-founder of 1P2P Studio. “We worked hard on these fights to make them as thrilling and rewarding as possible.”

Young Souls follows Jenn and Tristan’s day and night cycle as they freely roam around town in preparation for a full night fighting monsters and looting dungeons. These two heroes don’t really brag about their accomplishments as they aren’t well-liked by the townspeople, but the story centers around them trying to save someone they love, and that happens to include the town as well.

We’ll keep you updated on the development of Young Souls. In case you missed it, check out our preview from PAX West 2019, where we got an early look at the gameplay.
