You Can Play Katamari With Google Search Results
The Katamari series is equally weird yet endearing. For those unaware, the games are simply about rolling things up into gigantic spheres, which is oddly soothing. Simply watching or reading about the appeal won’t entice you. You have to play Katamari to understand why it has so many fans.
And it appears the franchise is far more mainstream than I thought because if you search for Katamari on Google and click on the sphere to the right, you can actually play Katamari with the page.
Google is no stranger to these types of minigames and easter eggs, but I don’t think anyone quite expected it to occur with Katamari. Still, it’s a pleasant surprise. Granted, its performance is shoddy, especially on mobile devices, though it’s appreciated all the same.
The latest Katamari game release is We Love Katamari ReRoll + Royal Reverie.
We Love Katamari ReRoll + Royal Reverie is a remastered version of the game that started it all. This version will feature quality-of-life enhancements and new modes, such as Selfie Mode and Eternal Mode, with options to turn off time limits. In addition, five new challenges themed around the story of the young King of All Cosmos have been added to the remaster, along with all new collectibles to roll up.
We Love Katamari ReRoll + Royal Reverie is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
