Yomawari 3 Receives New Trailer Highlighting Classically Tense Horror Gameplay

Developer Nippon Ichi Software has released a new trailer for their upcoming horror exploration title, Yomawari 3. This game was initially announced roughly 2 weeks ago. This new trailer provides gameplay footage that those familiar with the prior 2 entries should be abundantly familiar with. The general presentation and bizarre horror elements have seemingly carried over to this entry, and we’re excited to see further news.

You can view the newest trailer for the upcoming Yomawari 3 below. Note that it is only available in Japanese:

The Yomawari series began on the PlayStation Vita with Yomawari: Night Alone. Then, a sequel called Yomawari: Midnight Shadows was released for the same system alongside the PlayStation 4. Both titles are now available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, with the latter console having them bundled under the Yomawari: Long Night Collection. If you missed it, check out our review of that collection back when it was initially released.

These games are horror adventures, with the terror usually emitted via disturbing imagery and lonely premises. Further, several collectibles and optional events around the world aid in making exploration a vital component of the experiences and a satisfying venture for completionists. Hopefully, this upcoming third entry proves to be appealing to fans and prospective newcomers.

Yomawari 3, titled Yomawari San in Japan, will be releasing for that region for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 21, 2022. No information on an English release has been provided.
