YesterMorrow is a 2D platformer the blends action and puzzle elements together. Players will assume the role of a girl named Yui as she travels back to her past to save her family and the world from a Never-ending Night. Yui must master the use of Everlight, which grants her access to six special abilities and use time travel to overcome obstacles and access hidden locations. The game’s narrative is fueled by Yui’s eagerness to find her family and uncover what happened to the Sun.

The game features four different islands to explore, Forest, Desert, Ice, and Clockwork. Players are able to travel through the world in two different timelines, the past and future, which each feature different obstacles. Also, puzzles in the game can be solved in multiple ways.
