2D Platformer ‘YesterMorrow’ Gets Console and PC Release Date in New Trailer

Blowfish Studios announced that the Bitmap Galaxy-developed 2D platformer, YesterMorrow, will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on November 5.

YesterMorrow is a 2D platformer that mixes action sequences with puzzle elements. Players will need to use platforming skills to navigate through the levels as they unlock six special abilities to use against shadow enemies. The game features four different islands, Forest, Desert, Ice, and Clockwork, each with a variety of different puzzles to take on.

One interesting aspect of the game is that players will have the ability to traverse the world in two different timelines. Exploring through the past or fighting through the corrupt future. Each timeline offers bits of lore to piecing together the game’s narrative.

YesterMorrow has players assume the role of Yui, who travels back in time to save her family and the remnants of a world now trapped in Never-ending Night. She is tasked with illuminating the path forward to see the world in a new light, which finds here facing off against powerful shadows and completing challenging puzzles.

The publisher also released a new gameplay trailer to give players a preview of the game mechanics.
