RPG Visual Novel ‘Yamizome Revenger’ Coming West to PC Next Week

JAST USA announced they will publish the Escu:de-developed RPG visual novel, Yamizome Revenger, in the west on PC-via the JAST store on November 5, 2021.

Yamizome Revenger is a visual novel RPG hybrid game that tells the story of a young man who becomes linked with a demon from another world. The game cycles between day and night, where during the day, he lives an everyday life, attends class, and hangs out with his cute friends. However, at night, those friends turn into magical girls who want to destroy the demon he’s connected with. Sounds like a bit of an unbalanced friendship.

During gameplay, players will take part in the battles against the magical girls during RPG fights. Further, they can interact with the city as they make their way across town to meet up with different characters. As you could have guessed, the story does feature adult scenes, but you’ll probably have to work a bit through the RPG portions to get to it. Players are also able to utilize various skills to get through encounters.

If Escu:de sounds familiar, it’s because you probably know of them from the Re;Lord series, where Re;Lord 3: The demon lord of Groessen and the final witch has been confirmed for western release.
