Yakuza Kiwami 2 Announced for PC With 4K Support and Unlocked Framerates

Sega announced today that their action brawler Yakuza Kiwami 2 will launch on PC-via Steam on May 9 for $29.99.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 follows the story following the murder of the Fifth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, which means it’s up to Kazuma Kiryu to journey to Sotenbori, Osaka, to broker peace between the rivaling clans. Sadly, this means that Kiryu must go back to the life that he is trying to escape and faces off against Ryuji Goda who wants an all-out war.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is the remade version of Yakuza 2 which utilizes the Yakuza 6 Dragon Engine. Yakuza Kiwami 2 on PC will also feature a few chapters that developer the backstory of the Goro Majima, a fan favorite character in the series. Fans who pre-purchase the game early will receive that Clan Creator Bundle DLC, which includes Clan Creator Leaders and Packs along with weapons, outfits, and more.

The PC version of the game will support 4K resolutions and unlocked framerates for all you PC nerds out there. Additionally, options have been added for players to customize controls and adjust the graphics making it the best looking version of the Yakuza Kiwami 2 available.
