Following the announcement of Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut for Nintendo Switch 2, RGG Studio’s Makoto Suzuki discussed the game in an interview with the Japanese outlet Famitsu.
One of the most significant pieces of information revealed in this interview is that this upcoming enhanced port will feature roughly 26 minutes of newly added cutscenes. These cutscenes were teased in the game’s announcement trailer and will expand on specific characters and conflicts.
Suzuki also commented that 4K resolution is supported, assuming the console is connected to an applicable monitor. Further, 60 FPS has been the aim.
For those who missed the news, Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut will feature an English dub, a Chinese dub, and language support for French, Italian, German, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. Plus, the new four-player online mode, Red Light Raid, will contain up to 60 unlockable characters as you take down hordes of foes.
