Yacht Club Games Announces Yuzo Koshiro Composing For Mina the Hollower

Developer Yacht Club Games has announced that a guest composer for their upcoming action-adventure title, Mina the Hollower, will be Yuzo Koshiro. He has provided extensive work in the industry for over three decades, composing for prominent titles such as Super Smash Bros., Shenmue, The Revenge of Shinobi, Streets of Rage, Etrian Odyssey, and Castlevania.

In addition to an official video announcement via Yacht Club Games’ Youtube channel, Koshiro provided the following statement regarding his involvement:

I am very happy to announce that I am working with Yacht Club Games and Mina the Hollower’s main composer, Jake Kaufman, on songs for the game’s soundtrack. This exciting collaboration is thanks to all the backers of Mina the Hollower and the fans of my work as well. Thank you everyone!

Mina the Hollower is an ambitious Kickstarter title inspired by the likes of Link’s AwakeningBloodborne and Castlevania. View our prior coverage of its reveal, including screenshots and character renders. Players control the protagonist in a top-down action-adventure with Game Boy Color-esque aesthetics. No specific release date or platforms have been stated other than PC.
