EastAsiaSoft announced they will publish the Softstar-developed action RPG Xuan Yuan Sword 7 on Nintendo Switch. The game is currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.
The Nintendo Switch version of Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is a collaborative effort between Eastasiasoft, Softstar Entertainment, and DOMO Studio, with the porting led by Eastasiasoft and Catness Game Studios. This partnership has resulted in months of optimization to deliver one of the most visually impressive games on the Nintendo Switch, especially notable towards the end of the console’s lifecycle. The release is a significant achievement for Eastasiasoft Limited, aligning with their mission to bring high-quality action RPGs to Western audiences, particularly for handheld gaming enthusiasts.
In the final stages of development for the Switch, Xuan Yuan Sword 7 promises a comprehensive experience on a 16GB game card, accommodating its extensive content, high-end graphics, and cinematic presentation. A special physical Limited Edition of the game will include the game itself, a manual, a soundtrack CD, an art book, and a numbered certificate in a collector’s box. Pre-orders for this edition will open on December 22nd through the online retail partner Playasia, with standard copies also available for pre-order.
