XSEED to Publish Roguelike Cooking Game ‘Cuisineer’ This Summer; Playable Demo to be Hosted at PAX East 2023

XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe announced they will publish the BattleBrew Productions-developed roguelike cooking game Cuisineer on PC via Steam in summer 2023.

“We’ve been cooking up Pom’s adventure by ourselves for a while, but we’re excited to have found supportive partners in XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe who feel as passionately about the game as we do and we can’t wait to be able to serve up Cuisineer to players around the world later this year!” said Shawn Toh, Co-Founder & CEO at BattleBrew Productions.

Cuisineer follows Pom after receiving a letter from her parents that asked to see her one last time. She rushes home, but finds that they’ve vanished, leaving their restaurant abandoned. So, she picks up her tools and gets to work. Armed with a spatula, Pom must venture through dungeons and gather ingredients to cook dishes for customers.

“BattleBrew Productions immediately caught our eye at PAX East 2022 with their bright visuals, adorable characters, and unique food-based approach,” said Kenji Hosoi, Executive Vice President at XSEED Games, “We have no doubt that Cuisineer will be a great addition to our diverse menu of indie games and serve up a fantastic roguelike for gamers.”

We’ll keep you updated on the release of Cuisineer.
