XSEED Games announced they will publish the Voracious Games-developed indie sim adventure Potionomics on PC.
Not much has been revealed about Potionomics, but gameplay revolves around atelier-like store management, where players will assume the role of Sylvia as she tries to make a living crafting magical creations. The gameplay also includes material-gathering as players are able to create new items as they raise the rank of the store.
The game’s focus on running a store is meant to highlight what it’s like to run a potion shop as an NPC would in an RPG. Sylvia is just trying to make ends meet, so expect to witness some of the struggles of running a business as you master crafting, customizing, and upgrade your store.
Additionally, it’s been revealed that the economy is continually shifting, which changes the price of the items over time. Players will need to adapt to these changes and prepare for any future price drops or increases to get the most out of their items.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of Potionomics as more information is given.
