Roguelike Action RPG ‘Xenon Valkyrie+’ Gets Free Demo on Switch, Full Game Launches in January

Cowcat Games announced that their roguelike retro action title Xenon Valkyrie+ will launch on Nintendo Switch on January 1, 2019, on the Nintendo eShop.

Originally released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, and PC, Xenon Valkyrie+ brings it’s retro action and pixilated characters to Switch. Additionally, players can get their hands on the Switch version now with a free demo available on the eShop.

The demo will give players a preview of the game and how it runs on Switch, but given that this was originally a Vita exclusive, I’m sure it’ll look great on the console hybrid.

Xenon Valkyrie+ brings players to the deepest parts of the moon in order to the halt the plans of a wicked witch. Players will obtain new weapons and skills as they fight through procedurally generated worlds and encounter new characters and enemies. the game boasts 3 playable characters, over 100 items to find, multiple endings, and a handful of boss battles.

Xenon Valkyrie+ is available now on PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, and PC.

Author’s take: Why haven’t I played this game yet!? It screams to be on my top ten lists, looks like you’ll be seeing a Switch review of the game soon.
