Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Revealed To Take Switch Owners on an Amazing Adventure

Nintendo revealed plans for Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, a remaster of the Monolithsoft developer RPG, Xenoblade Chronicles, for Nintendo Switch, coming in 2020.

The trailer quickly introduces players to the character, Shulk, as his adventure in pursuit of Fiora begins. However, it’s a little more than that given that the trailer shows some huge improvements to the game’s graphics and character designs, giving it a much need graphical update. Throughout the adventure, Shulk’s scope of the world grows as he travels to more dangerous places and meets new people. The party also increases as the story becomes one of the best RPGs of the Wii generation that is still discussed today.

While similar in scale, players can enjoy Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Switch now, which has DLC that brings Shulk into the game’s world, even though they aren’t directly connected and can be enjoyed separately. While the battle systems between each game are also different they still retain the game’s signature style of approaching enemies on the field and attacking them in real-time combat.

Currently, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is scheduled to release in 2020 and more information about the game will be revealed during TGS 2019 and other upcoming events.
