Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 will air on Sunday, June 7, starting at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. The presentation will be immediately followed by a dedicated Gears of War: E-Day Direct.
The annual showcase will feature updates from Xbox’s first-party studios, along with announcements and gameplay from third-party partners worldwide. Microsoft says the event will include first looks at upcoming titles spanning major franchises and smaller projects.
Following the main showcase, Gears of War: E-Day Direct will focus entirely on the upcoming entry from The Coalition. The presentation will cover the origins of Emergence Day, with new gameplay details and behind-the-scenes insights into the prequel story.
The event also ties into Xbox’s 25th anniversary, with Xbox FanFest returning during the showcase.
The showcase will be streamed across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook, with support for over 40 languages and accessibility options such as American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and audio descriptions.
