Xbox Game Pass Updated; 8 New Arrivals (Mass, Effect, Spelunky 2), 6 Departures (Kingdom Hearts III, Mount & Blade)

Microsoft has published a new blog post detailing which titles will be added to the Game Pass service and which will be leaving. A list of the games arriving to Game Pass is provided below, alongside their dates of availability.

  • Gorogoa (Now)
  • Olija (Now)
  • The Pedestrian (Now)
  • Embr (January 6)
  • Mass Effect Legendary Edition (January 6)
  • Outer Wilds (January 6)
  • Spelunky 2 (January 13)
  • The Anacrusis Console & PC Preview (January 13)

Further, Minecraft is commencing a temporary New Year’s Celebration, Apex Legends is granting a new weapon charm, and Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is providing monthly bonus items.

6 titles will be leaving the service on January 15, and they are each listed below:

  • Desperados III (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Ghost of a Tale (PC)
  • Kingdom Hearts III (Console)
  • Mount & Blade: Warband (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Pandemic (Console and PC)
  • Yiik: A Postmodern RPG (PC)

It is worth noting that each of the games leaving Game Pass can be purchased at a 20% discount by service subscribers.
