Xbox Game Pass Gets Five More Games In Early November

With over 100 titles already included in Xbox Games Pass, there’s going to be five more games coming soon. Microsoft announced that Sniper Elite 4, OlliOlli 2XL, Sheltered, and Rise and Shine will become available to Xbox Game Pass members beginning on November 1. Additionally, on November 6, GRIP: Combat Racing will also be available for Xbox Game Pass members to enjoy some vehicle destruction mayhem.

There’s a wide range of games coming to Xbox Game Pass, so get the lowdown about each of them below:

Sniper Elite 4

Unlike most shooters that focus on outrunning and outgunning opponents, the Sniper Elite series takes a vastly different approach. Just like in previous games in Rebellion’s World War 2 video game series, Sniper Elite 4 has third-person stealth-action gameplay that rewards sharpshooters who make some epic longshots. With an extensive arsenal of weapons and equipment, vast environments to explore, and deep customization options, there’s plenty of ways to take down all of the Nazis in the game.

OlliOlli 2: XL Edition

Developed by Roll7, OlliOlli 2 is a 2D side-scroller that has you skating across 100 different levels. You can rack up radical combos by pulling off grinds, manuals, reverts, and tons of other tricks — like my personal favorite, finger flips. OlliOlli 2: XL Edition has a local multiplayer mode for 2-4 players, and a Free-Skate mode for players to cruise around and learn tricks.

As a skateboarder and just as a fan of skateboarding games, I highly recommend playing OlliOlli 2: XL Edition. It’s not a “realistic” skateboarding experience like the one found in EA’s Skate series, but OlliOlli 2 is an absolutely fantastic arcade style skateboarding game.

Sheltered

Get hit with feels and thrills as you play Sheltered, a deep and emotional survival management game from Unicube and Team 17 where you need to keep your family of four alive for as long as possible. Given a head-start over the billions lost in a nuclear holocaust, it’ll be up to you to gather as many supplies as possible as you make your way through a concrete underground shelter — which becomes your home. You’ll end making tough decisions, facing several obstacles, crafting equipment, and fighting off enemies to survive.

Rise and Shine

In Super Mega Team’s Rise and Shine, published by Adult Swim, you play as a young child named Rise who has a legendary gun called Shine, and together, they must take down an invading force of robots and space grunts. At first glance, Rise and Shine look like an ordinary side-scrolling, shoot-em-up adventure, but it actually has a gun-based puzzle system that truly makes it one difficult game to play.

GRIP: Combat Racing

GRIP: Combat Racing is all about being fast and furious. Crafted by Caged Element Inc. and published by Wired Productions, GRIP is a high octane, hardcore combat racer that lets you go as fast as a locomotive, and use heavy weapons to blast things to bits. In the words of Ricky Bobby, “if you ain’t first, you’re last!”

Thanks to gravity-defying physics, you’ll be able to drive on walls, cruise across ceilings, and just about anything else. Along with the single-player campaign and Carkour stunt mode (a mode where you can pull of sweet, parkour car tricks), GRIP will include 22 tracks spanning four planets, 15 armored combat vehicles, multiple race formats, and PVP battle arenas all with split-screen for up to four players.

There’s going to be more games for on the way for Xbox Game Pass. On November 10, Microsoft is throwing a global celebration of all things Xbox filled with news, first looks, surprises, and of course, new Xbox Game Pass games. It’ll be live streamed on Mixer, but check out more information for X018 via the event’s official page.
