Sony has announced the latest additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for September 2025, headlined by WWE 2K25, Persona 5 Tactica, Green Hell, and Fate/Samurai Remnant. These titles will be available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members starting Tuesday, September 16.
Meanwhile, Legacy of Kain: Defiance joins the PlayStation Plus Premium lineup as part of the Classics Catalog, giving fans another shot at the cult-favorite vampire saga.
WWE 2K25 | PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
2K’s latest wrestling sim brings back chain wrestling and introduces new match types like Bloodline Rules and Underground fights. WWE 2K25 features “The Bloodline’s Dynasty,” a new 2K Showcase hosted by Paul Heyman, spotlighting one of wrestling’s most dominant stables. Intergender matches are now playable, and MyRISE mode includes a multi-gender storyline with both male and female Superstars aiming to shake up NXT.
Persona 5 Tactica | PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
Atlus swaps turn-based JRPG battles for grid-based strategy in Persona 5 Tactica. The Phantom Thieves find themselves in a militarized alternate world and join forces with a mysterious revolutionary named Erina. Tactical positioning, character synergies, and a new combat system round out the spin-off’s fresh take on the franchise.
Green Hell | PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
Creepy Jar’s open-world survival game tasks players with staying alive in the dense Amazon rainforest. Green Hell emphasizes realism with mental health management, physical injuries, and survival crafting. Players can go it alone or tackle the wilderness with friends in co-op.
Fate/Samurai Remnant | PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
Fate/Samurai Remnant drops the familiar Holy Grail War format into Edo-period Japan. Developed by Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon, this action RPG follows Miyamoto Iori as he becomes embroiled in the deadly Waxing Moon Ritual. Expect fast-paced combat, Servant pairings, and plenty of Fate franchise lore.
Crow Country | PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
From the team behind Tangle Tower comes a retro survival horror set in a closed-down theme park. In Crow Country, players control Mara Forest, who arrives in 1992 to uncover the mystery behind the park’s sudden closure and its missing owner. Classic fixed-camera horror design meets an eerie narrative in this atmospheric title.
The Invincible | PlayStation 5
Inspired by the novel from Stanisław Lem, The Invincible puts players in the role of astrobiologist Yasna, who explores the alien world Regis III in search of her missing crew. It’s a narrative-driven sci-fi adventure focused on choice, with 11 possible endings and a heavy emphasis on philosophical themes.
Conscript | PlayStation 5
Set during World War I’s Battle of Verdun, Conscript blends pixel-art visuals with classic survival horror design. Players navigate war-torn trenches and decrepit fortresses in a desperate search for a missing brother. Expect resource management, puzzle-solving, and a bleak atmosphere throughout.
Legacy of Kain: Defiance | PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 (PlayStation Plus Premium)
Originally released on PlayStation 2, Legacy of Kain: Defiance returns as a Classics Catalog title. The dual narrative follows Kain and Raziel, two cursed beings navigating a collapsing world filled with betrayal and ancient prophecy. This re-release marks the game’s first appearance on modern PlayStation hardware.
September’s lineup covers a wide mix of genres, from tactical RPGs and horror to sports entertainment and sci-fi adventure, giving subscribers plenty to explore.
