Dark Fantasy-Horror FPS ‘WRATH: Aeon of Ruin’ Gets PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC Release Date

3D Realms and 1C Entertainment announced that the KillPixel Games-developed dark fantasy-horror FPS WRATH: Aeon of Ruin, will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on February 25.

Currently, in Steam Early Access, the game also received a new content update today, which introduces a new level, weapon, and enemy. Players are able to explore the former home of an extinct religious sect and investigate the hidden world underneath. The level features leva-filled chasms, stone chambers, and profane altars that give a bit of context to the situation. Players will meet the Oppressor, a walking furnace capable of firing volleys of molten rock.

The team plans to update the Early Acces build two more times before the official launch.

“We’ve fallen in love with WRATH throughout development and we want it to be the best game possible,” said Frederik Schreiber, Vice President of 3D Realms and Producer on WRATH. “So while we’re coming out later than we wished, we’re creating the Founder’s Edition Big Box since our fans love them, as well as making sure our roadmap is detailed and transparent.”

PC players eager to get a physical release can pick up the Founder’s Edition Big Box for $99.99, which includes:

  • Limited Founders Edition Big Box
  • Wrath: Aeon of Ruin on CD-ROM
  • “The Art of Wrath” Art Book
