Gamuzumi continues to dip into the pool of Winged Cloud-developed visual novels to release them on consoles. The publish announced that Would you like to run an idol café? will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2021.
Initially released on Steam earlier this year, Would you like to run an idol café? stars Yokoyama Naoya, an ordinary guy now, but he used to be a delinquent. Now that he’s older, he isn’t so much of a rebel and wants to get his life together, but his mistakes are currently affecting his college chances.
Now, he is putting education on the back burner, moving in with his childhood friend, Ichigo, and getting a local cafe job. The cafe is located on a beach and run by Miss Miyamori, who likes Naoya, which is good for him cause now he gets to work with Mayuki and Kuu. However, Naoya’s past creeps up on him, which might hurt his relationship with these three girls.
This is a romance visual novel, but if you’re looking for the h-content, you’ll have to pick up the PC version. The console release trailer does provide a look at some of the CGs available, but we assume it doesn’t push it too far past ecchi. Further, the game features multiple routes for the heroines.
There are multiple parts to this game, with the sequel available now.
