Zero Escape and Danganronpa Creator’s ‘World’s End Club’ Gets Western Release Date on Apple Arcade With Switch Version Planned
Izanagi Games announced that the Too Kyo Games-developed puzzle-action games World’s End Club will launch on Apple Arcade on September 4, with a Switch release planned for 2021.
World’s End Club is the product of a group of adventure visual novel creators coming together to develop games. This title was worked on by Zero Escape series creator Kotaro Uchikoshi who acted as scenario writer alongside Danganronpa series creator Kazutaka Kodaka, who worked as a creative director.
The game features a simple control scheme with a fusion of 2D scrolling puzzle-action mechanics, all wrapped up in a story-driven adventure. Through the game, players will make choices that branch the narrative of 12 unique characters. The game also takes place in several locations across Japan.
World’s End Club tells the story of the Go-Getters Club, which is made up of oddball kids from across Japan. Reycho and the members of the group are different from the other kids, and one day while on a school trip, their bust gets into an accident, and they wake up in a theme park under the sea.
Suddenly, Reycho and the others are instructed to play a “Fate Game” where they must fight for their lives.
