World War Z Reveals Post-Launch Content Roadmap for All Platforms
Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive have revealed the content roadmap for the online multiple zombie shooter World War Z, available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Beginning in May, a new mission will unlock set in Tokyo along with a new zombie type that spits a deadly virus and can even resurrect if not properly killed. Next, in June, a difficulty increase will appear that allows players to take on six-skull missions that yield a unique reward. This will also give players access to bonus cosmetics and additional upgrades. And lastly, for now, June will introduce Weekly Challenge mode as well as new cosmetic options for players.
The developers plan to release additional content over the course of the roadmap that includes a wave-based survival mode, private lobbies, and the ability to switch classes during PvPvZ matches along with some PC options that adds a slider for the field of view and level of detail.
World War Z follows multiple groups of survivors and addresses their unique storylines as they avoid interaction with the walking dead. However, that’s easier said than done because of Saber’s new Swarm Engine gives players a tough time as they manage to survive against a large horde of zombies.
Players travel through multiple locations such as Moscow, Jerusalem, and New York in World War Z. They must use their wits and environment to survive encounters, but of course, they could also use their guns.
