Adorable Chef Simulation ‘World Tree Marché’ Gets Western Release Date on Switch

Flyhigh Works and Circle Entertainment announced that the food crafting game developed by Asobo, World Tree Marché, will launch on the Nintendo Switch eShope on February 28.

World Tree Marché is a light-hearted management simulation where players must run a shop known as the “World Tree”. Evidentially, the shop is struggling, but with the help of six chefs, players must breathe new life into the store to make it profitable. Gameplay focuses around discovering new ingredients, creating recipes to sell on food carts, and following the stories of each of the chefs.

The publisher also released a new trailer showing gameplay from the Nintendo Switch version. The gameplay shown is from the Japanese version, but the game has been fully localized in English when it releases in the west.

World Tree Marché features elements of character growth throughout its story as players learn more about the chefs and bring the store back to its former glory. The game also features illustrated characters as well as pixel versions of the cast in a retro style.

Author’s take: This game looks really fun, but I suck at simulation games. Oh well, we all gotta start somewhere.
